Detta programmet presenteras endast på tyska

So kids, are you tired of looking at stuffy old churches and shopping for souvenirs? Then come along on a Tidemann tour! Or what about a ride through the town? And we don't mean one of those cruises where the captain gives these boring explanations, that's not what you want. No, we mean one where you're the actors, where you can dress up as the town guard and off you go!
What did you say? You want a kind of cultural program, too? Well, then you can go to the open-air stage in Lübeck in the summer - there's a lot going on. Michel from Lönneberger was already there, Jim Knopf and, who else, Pippi Longstockings with Mr. Nilsson and Old Man! And have you ever been to a museum for marionettes, also called a puppet museum, or have you ever looked at stick puppets and marionettes? Have you ever been to a puppet theatre where they say, "Open the curtain for princes, princesses, robbers, witches and trolls!" Well, come on then! I bet there's still tons for you to do in Lübeck…
Or do you want to take a look at the enormous exhibition of toys at the St. Anne's Museum? Or maybe you want to go to the old town gate in the Holsten Gate, admire the battlements or have a look on a model of the city. Or you could trek over to the Museum of Natural History, Nature and the Environment and take a peek at the whale skeleton - a baleen whale that got stranded here millions and millions of years ago.
Around Christmas, we say, "Off to Sleeping Beauty, to Hansel and Gretel and many other fairy tale characters." Next to St. Mary's Church, they've set up camp for the entire month of December and are dishing out fun to young and old. And you can go to St. Aegedius Church, the smallest church in Lübeck, for a nativity play in Low German, or "Platt(düütsch)" as it's known, during several days before Christmas - fun for both children and the young at heart!
